Quantum of Solace...

As an avid Bond fan...I have been anticipating the release of this movie for quite some time. After being so excited about Casino Royale and loving that movie, I have to admit, I had high hopes for this one. Not so good...I say...don't get me wrong it was Bond and Daniel Craig does an amazing job portraying the character (and sexiness)...but as my dad stated and I am going to have to steal his words..."It was sterile." What a great word, "sterile"...where was Q and all his gadets...that is one of the best parts...and as for the Bond girls...you know he is going to sleep with one of them...at least make the scene a bit more enjoyable and sexy than...slam, bam, thank you ma'am...give us something. The chase scenes...well, confusing...at certain points you can't tell who is who...I guess, overall, I was expecting more...

Twilight...

My mom wanted me to go see this one...never read the books, and not all that interested in vampire stories. However, I saw one of the previews and thought it looked decent, so I told my parents I'd go watch it with them. It was a tad bit slow at first, but found myself really getting into it. By the end...I was totally engrosed and now excited for the next one. Still not sure if I will read the books, but highly recommend the movie.

Birds in America...

I didn't really know what the movie was about when I got it...I figured it was going to be one of Matthew Perry's not so good romantic comedies entertaining me for while and not really having to pay attention to it. I will say I was very surprised...a depressing, yet somehow inspirational in a wierd sort of way...I recommend it. And I guarantee my sister would tell me this is one of my "wierd" movies...maybe she is right...

The Bank Job...

A great heist movie based on a true story...now I realize I tend to pick a lot of these out and they can be similar...but this one is definitely unique.

In Bruges...

A very interesting movie well worth watching...words are actually difficult to describe it however...

Ironman...

I have been waiting awhile to watch this one. I didn't get a chance to see it in the theatre, which would have been good for the sound. I really liked it and I liked Robert Downey Jr. Of course, they left it open for a second one (sorry if I ruined that for you, but most of these movies do anyways)
