Star Trek...
Yes, i did watch this...I actually was talked into it...as I really had absolutely no desire to watch this movie what-so-ever. Even in the beginning...I wasn't keeping an open mind...I definitely am not a "trekee" by far...but as the movie started getting going and I will admit...the soundtrack is decent...it actually turned out to be a pretty good movie. The cast was good...and for people such as myself who really have no clue what Star Trek is about...it does a good job of explaining everything. I really do have to recommend it if you haven't seen it.
Alice in Wonderland...
I've been wanting to see this movie for quite some time. I've never really been a bit Alice in Wonderland fan...however, I do like Tim Burton movies...and of course...Johnny Depp. My favorite part was the costumes...those were great. The movie was done well and and I really liked it. I know that wasn't necessarily the case with the critics...the only thing I would suggest is...an alternative name. This one makes me believe it is just another remake of the movie...not a sequel...which is more of what it is.

Exit Through the Gift Shop...
Absolutely a amazing documentary on street art (graffiti). So intriguing about how these arts have perfected their work as well as how they had to go about displaying it for the general public. The secrecy involved and the subtle competivness. IT also had a side story of the original videographer falling into his own art. If you are looking for something different, but entertaining in a new way...WATCH IT!
127 Hours...
I finally watched this movie. Wow...wow...to know it was based on a true story....wow. I can see how James Franco got nominated for an Oscar...his acting was great. There really isn't much to the movie, but a good movie it is. Will say it was a bit difficult to watch in parts, but I highly recommend it.
Young Victoria...
Now I will say, I am a huge fan of period pieces...so naturally, I am going to already be interested in this one. Thought the story was good...I didn't know much about Queen Victoria. If you are not into all that stuff...you probably won't like it. However, Emily Blunt, in my opinion, did a good job playing Queen Victoria. If you are a period piece geek...definitely watch it!
The Tourist...
Not a fan of Angelina Jolie...I do I love me some Johnny Depp. I had heard not so good things about the movie, but I don't always listen to the critics. My mom actually rented this and brought it over for me...so Free movie...duh! I did find it slow at first, but I didn't think it was as bad as everyone was saying. Would I tell you to run right out and rent it...no, but if you can't find anything else to rent...give it a shot.
Life As We Know It...
Not really knowing what to expect...I will admit I do like Katherine Heigl...I know some of you out there do not...but I was pleasantly surprised. Decent story line with some pretty funny parts. I really had to be careful when laughing or I would have opened my incision back up. Definitely not something you have to pay close attention too, but entertaining to say the least. Worth the effort of renting.
The Switch...
Invictus...
I've been wanting to watch this movie for quite some time now. We had started it later at night and was falling asleep...however, I wouldn't give up. I put it back in the next day and focused. I thought it was great! Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman did an amazing job portraying their characters. Well done...definitely need to watch.
